Hello friends!
I am extending my birthday though the week and so I made a birthday inspired craft!
Anddddd not only did it turn out kind of cute, buttt it is SUPER functional because I have to admit a secret.....I am HORRIBLE at remembering birthdays.
Case and point-I forgot my dads birthday this year.
:o(
And I am STILL 3 months later feeling really REALLY bad.
Sooooo here is a way to cleverly display birthdays for the month.
I started out with the back of a frame that I wasn't using.
Scrapbook paper.
Quote printed on vellum.
A knob.
A clip.
And tags to print birthdays and a calendars on.
I had fun using my typewriter for this project.
It was NOT super simple making the calendars....
they are SO not perfect, but I like how it turned out.
And I like the idea that I can add dates to the tags as I remember them.
It is going to be simple to just flip the tags for each month.
What do you think? Clever way to remember those darn dates that sneak up on you?!?

ReplyDeleteSuch a good idea! I use to be a whiz at remembering special dates , but that was when I was young and life was more carferee...LOL I forgot my parent's anniversary this year and still feel bad about it as well.
