Well guys....
I can hardly believe that Christmas is coming so fast.
I feel like I JUST put up my holiday decor....
Is it weird that I am already getting sad that it has to come down so soon?
Ahhh butttt at least parts of it get to stay around...
Like I mentioned before I am all about WINTER decor vs. Christmas because lets face it----winter in Wisconsin lasts FOREVER! And so I might as well enjoy decorations for it!
Anyways on with my Christmas tour---{click here if you missed the living room!}.
It is NOT perfect, it is not spotless.... there is no particular "theme" or decor style....but it is home and I love it!
I LOVE advent calendars and I honestly think I have about 4 of them up this year.... I especially love the one on my island!
It just makes me happy!
Yes ohhh yes this little guy will be staying out past Christmas.... he just makes me so happy!
Talk about a mod podge right?!
Buttttt I don't care.
He is another keeper----just too cute for words right?!?!
And here is the view from the kitchen to the front door.
And just in case you were wondering the door with the white wreath----that is the door that leads to my little heaven----my craft room!
How spoiled am I to have a craft room right on the first floor?!?!
Anyways, I know my stockings aren't the most stylish or cute...but I LOVE them. They are the stockings that I grew up with. They hold such great memories and meaning to me that they are absolutely part of my decor regardless of their "style"!
Andddd finally the last little detail of my tour----my most favorite and treasured piece of decor for the holiday----yessssssss I LOVE LOVE LOVE this little plaque.
Because lets face it I am a dorky dental nerd!
And on another dorky side note:

I love your snowmen. I feel the same about leaving some non-Santa decor up. Jan and Feb are still Winter and our coldest months. I don't care to rush into Spring decor the second Xmas is over ;) Happy Holidays!!

ReplyDeleteI decided to go with a 'white-ish' mantle this year....problem is, our stockings are black and red and red velvet and I haven't figured where to put them yet. I very hurring up and find place!
ps- forgot to mention that my dentist has Herbie in her exam room all year round. it makes me smile :)

ReplyDeleteLoving all the snowmen! How'd you get that wording on your bench? Would love to do something similar but if it's a decal or vinyl, I know my son would take it off as he slides off the bench to get up.

Jaime - I LOVE your kitchen! I love all the white, the cutie snowmen of course, the glass on the cabinet above the computer, and the little touches of blue. LOVE. It looks so cozy and a perfect place to grab a cup of coffee to chit chat with a friend. :)
