My fall mantle--and some fall inspired decor!

Okay friends are you ready for picture over load?!
Soo do you remember my make-shift mantle that was all decorated for spring/summer with a very nautical feel?!

well we have a new feel---a fall feel going on now!

And I think I am really enjoying this new look.

I love change.
(if you want the tutorial for how I made my fall sign--click here.... I used dollar canvases and up-cycled them!)

I love these pedestal bowls---I hoard them.
Seriously.
I buy them up from thrift shops like nothing!
I like them white and light buttt they got hit with black spray paint for the season.

I had some fun making the wreaths also!

I made all 3 for less than 5 dollars!

They are fabric wrapped, then tulle wrapped.
Then I added some fun fabric flowers and vintage buttons!

annnd my new favorite fall decor item EVER---pheasant feathers!

I love them!
I love how they frame out the wreath and everything on the mantle.

Andd how they add to a collection of white pumpkins.

what do you think?
I can honestly say that I didn't spend more than 10 dollars on my fall decor---which makes me even more excited than anything!

I even used some burlap coffee sacks to add to the decor.

Kind of fun right?!
What do you think about my fall love for pheasant feathers?!

I am linking up to a few of these wonderful link-y parties!!!
I hope you are planning to link up at this weeks Crafty Scrappy Happy party---starting this week on Wed. night!

  13. Absolutely L.O.V.E. everything you did to the mantle. Before you even mentioned it later in your post, the pheasant feathers are the first thing I noticed - how funny (great minds think alike!). I'm working on my mantle this week but I'll doing Halloween theme first, then move to a more traditional fall/thanksgiving theme for November. Isn't there a Mantle Makeover linky party somewhere?
