My first offical spring decor project!

Just in case you missed my guest post----
This is my first official spring project!
It is unseasonably warm in my home state of Wisconsin and I am officially in spring decor mode.

Ohhh how I love the light and white decor.

My little plaque was a simple project with just a couple of simple steps.

I added the wording with a black ink pad and some lettered stamps that I got from the dollar section of a craft store.

I added the stripes using strips of contact paper as my guide---mainly because it peels off easily and it is simple to measure and cut.

Finally I added some bakers twine and a scrap of fabric from one of my husbands old shirts that just happened to match!

Sweet, simple and imperfect--just my style!

And it fits right in with spring decor!

I am linking up to a few of my favorite link parties---be sure to check them out!!!

  5. Your stamped eggs over at ItsOverFlowing are eggscellent! I'm pinning them because I can do that, I even have a little stamp set. I'm always tickled when I find something I can make without much fuss.

  18. Another pretty pretty project, Jaime! I'm all ticked that you & Stacey (above) found those stamps for a buck! I paid like $12 for mine last year. Slap Martha Stewart on somethin' and you can get away with it apparently! Thanks for linking with air your laundry Friday!
