Hello there you Crafty, Scrappy, Happy people! My name is Jennifer and I’m the head honcho behind the Delightfully Noted blog; my little corner of the world where I get to share my passion for all things creative {mostly just to prove to myself that the right cerebral cortex part of my brain is still working} and everything delightfully in-between. I’m also the owner/designer of a little stationery biz on Etsy called, well, of course…Delightfully Noted!

Blog

I am beyond excited that Jaime has allowed me to have this opportunity at Crafty, Scrappy, Happy to share one of my favorite tutorials. Let’s face it; Jaime is like an endless source of DIY inspiration and how can anyone not be influenced one way or another by her taste in home décor?!

So without further ado, I’d like to share with you my no-sew burlap wine bag.  It’s hard to believe but the holiday season is upon us and with that comes lots of parties and get-togethers.  Wine is the perfect go-to hostess gift, so I always like to dress up my vino is something unique and fun.

Supplies Needed:
Piece of burlap material
{34 inches by 34 inches for most average wine bottle sizes}
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Rubber band
2 pieces of solid or patterned scrap material
Coordinating ribbon
Bottle of wine

Measure and cut some burlap to wrap your bottle of wine in. Tie a rubber band around the neck of the bottle in order to hold the material in place. Then tie a pretty ribbon over the rubber band.

I’m addicted to rolled fabric flowers, so, of course, I had to add some! In order to makes these beauties, cut 4 strips of fabric at various lengths and then tie a knot at one end of each strip. Then start wrapping; twisting and rolling as you go. Glue the ends down with a glue gun.

Now for your final step…..adhere your finished flowers with your glue gun to your burlap bag.  Aren’t they purrrty?

I love the look of burlap and these rolled flowers. Just think how delighted your recipients will be to receive such a beautifully wrapped bottle of wine!  Thanks again to Jaime for sharing her space with me today!
