Blog Swap With Tabs From Inspired By Giving

Hello friends!  I am SUPER excited to introduce you to my wonderful friend Tabs---she is just wonderful!  I am so thrilled she is here today, because I think she is amazing and I just know you are all going to think so too!
This girl is my real life friend from Michigan...and although we are now a 6 and 1/2 hour drive away, we are still as close as ever.
She was the person who introduced me to crafty blogs!  Can you believe it?  Before I knew her less than a year ago I had no idea what TT and J was or Miss Mustard Seed was---what in the world did I do back then?!?  She introduced me to pintrest.  She got me back into crafting.  In fact if you look at my blog posts from "back then" it is boringggggggg....  Turns out Tabs inspired me to find my place in the blog world----and she goes on inspiring me with her cute cute cute blog Inspired by Giving.

Hello Crafty Scrappy Happy friends!! I am Tabitha from Inspired By Giving and I'm so happy to be swapping blogs today with Jaime!

I am delighted to be here. First I want to say that Jaime and I have been friends for awhile now. I mean real life friends like "go shopping" and "come over for dinner" type friends. Yeah, I'm cool. I got to hang with this cool chick. And you probably already know how sweet and amazingly talented she is. I adore her and her amazing ideas!

Because of the immense inspiration she's given me, I decided to do a project similar to the projects she does, but with an Inspired By Giving twist.

Jaime always does great meaningful art, so I thought I'd create some instant art with a couple frames, scrapbook paper, and Graphics Fairy clipart.

After printing my images on scrapbook paper, I positioned the smaller paper on the larger teal-colored scrapbook paper, and glued in place. The larger teal paper will act as the "matting".

Then to give it some texture, I sewed a "frame" around the smaller paper.

Lastly, I put the pages in their frames. So simple and so cute!

I hope this inspires you to create some meaningful instant art as well. If you love scrapbooking, card making, sewing, and home decor and crafting, be sure to visit Inspired By Giving!!

 Have a lovely day!
